Seen a lot of tweets this evening that a Leeds fan has died outside Elland Road today after pushing a child out of the way of a car.

I believe he is still alive, injuries to his leg and face but still alive thankfully.

It is correct that a fan was run over outside Elland Road after preventing a child being hit by an oncoming car. However reports of the supporter's death appear to be unfounded and a recent statement from West Yorkshire Police confirms that a gentleman sustained "serious leg injuries"
