Cardiff club does the business in Swansea!

I the ran the Wokingham Half Marathon on the 18th and finished in 78.08 which although is early in the season gets me 18th in Wales and 4th for my age category (vet 40). Just got to keep plugging away now to stay up there!
I was aiming for 77 minutes but the last three miles were tough and there was a head wind. It was a PB so I was happy and it made me 2nd albeit temporarily in my club.
I had a bit of asthma and took it easy so I could take part in The Welsh Cross Country Championships at Singleton Park in Swansea yesterday. Although Swansea runners seemed to be everywhere our small Cardiff club did incredibly well for their numbers!
I took silver for my age group and finished 31st! It was great to be up on the podium and I am so proud of Les Croupiers running club and Really happy with that!!!! A great start to the season!
