Problem is most would turn up at big games only
I think there’s a limit of season tickets you can sell as a percentage of capacity. Am I right on that?
Yes Neil, it was 22,500 last time when capacity was 27,500
Club say they will be giving 15% of our 33,500 to away fans and also have to have tickets to buy per match

Nah, the way I look at it is the ‘hardcore’ amongst the City fans are not the fans that are here this season but the fans that come no matter what. The hardcore are the supporters that would come regardless of if we are in second place in the championship or whether we are mid table in league 2.
That’s the hardcore of the club and that figure is way, way below 16,000 mate.

Would need to sell about 26k season tickets for that.
Even an average of 25k would be 14th
There are a lot of sides in the prem with smallish grounds
.. and a lot of bigger sides in the Championship.
Leeds, Villa, Sheff Weds, Forest , Sheff Utd, Derby all have really good support and big grounds.
A few more would argue they should be on that list too

As a Boro fan i would argue we should be on that list. We averaged over 30,000 last season and over 25,000 this season
which has been underwhellming this season.
