Sean Morrison and Gary Madine are fit to start for the Bluebirds against Brentford, both who were on the bench against Birmingham.

The return of Morrison in particular is so crucial for Cardiff, who lost four games over the Christmas period without their captain and most consistent centre-back.

Meanwhile Madine will provide competition for the in-form-again Kenneth Zohore up front.


Craig Bryson is once again carrying an injury and might need more time to recover.

Joe Ralls is out injured.

Aron Gunnarson could be named in the squad, but is not fully match fit,but has trained now for two weeks.

Grujic, Patterson and who else. Can't play Damour in there as Patterson is the advanced one.

Against Brentford too- who have an excellent midfield.

If Bryson’s definitely out, NW will slot Halford in. Grujic will need to be disciplined, with their MF. I like Damour, but he hasn’t shown much recently to get in over Halford. Pato in that advanced midfield role is a terrier. I bloody love him!

was an odd injury, he seemed to be happy to continue but the bench had already made their mind up to bring him off.

You want Paterson to hold and defend the midfield? He’s one of our best threats for goals and assists!

Agree totally.....Paterson wasted as a holding player. Play Bamba in that role and let Grujic push up more often.

Bryson is one of those players who love to play. So being injured probably didn't bother him. But they needed to sub him to stop further damage.
The Physio was sure as soon as they got to the touchline.
