FAO Massimo Osti Officiandos

Bought a piece in 2001. Loved it, but one thing bothered/bothers me. The 'made in' tag was cut out. I'm 99 percent sure it's not snide as the quality is too high. anyone know why the tag displaying country of origin was doctered?

Where did you buy it from ? I’m sure I remember something with SI doing similar around the same time. I rember Barkers were selling a load of fake SI jumpers years ago.

Bought the jacket while in Bristol, which was a bit silly in retrospect. Last night somebody told me shops would cut the 'country of origin' tag if they weren't licensed vendors of Massimo Osti gear. Not sure. I much prefer that era of coats though.

I don't remember Barkers selling fake SI. stopped going there after the baggy era, which was mad looking back.
