The heavier snow is supposed to be in the SE.

BBC Weather now upgraded snow threat to amber for Derby area. Vince just put it on FB too.

I've just spoken with Derby and they think the match will go ahead.

Might go ahead but we might not get there if snows as bad as forecast!.lets hope its just a dusting.

Ruined my last trip and couldn’t make the re arranged game. Hope it’s going to be ok this time around.

The roads need traffic to keep them clear but as it start in the early hours traffic is really light.

Every time I look at the forecast it gets worse. I've got to drive to Durham tomorrow to pick up my daughter. The intention was to stay there tomorrow and drive back via Derby on the Sunday. The problem is I've got the tickets for my son and his mate in Nottingham. So if I don't make it then they cant go either. I may have to go via Nottingham tomorrow to drop the tickets off. What a pain.

Just got back from the midlands as collected my daughter from wolves, no snow up there and her nan doesn't expect much if any and thinks it will be fine so not sure we should be worried

The worry is getting from here to there.team will go up today along with people staying overnight.the rest of us going tomorrow might struggle.hopefully the snow wont be bad .
