NEIL WARNOCK: " TALKS ABOUT DERBY COUNTY / CARDIFF CITY "

NEIL WARNOCK TALKS AHEAD OF THE BIG CLASH THIS SUNDAY AWAY AT DERBY COUNTY :bluebird: :bluebird:

Cardiff have spent between £6-£8mill

The other clubs in the promotion race £25mill-£50mill.

NEIL WARNOCK:

"Derby are the best in the league on paper and the money they have spent compared to us,you can't compare"

“You concentrate on yourselves because other teams are going to have problems."

"You look at Derby, Fulham, Villa and Wolves, they're the ones with the big wage bills in the league."

"You can't tell me we are under pressure compared to Wolves, Derby and Fulham.

"What are we doing in second place with our wage bill and what's gone on in the past? It's a miracle."

"People still aren't talking about Cardiff.”

He added: “Mind, when you look at the money spent and size of squad at Aston Villa, Wolves, Derby, Fulham, you might wonder what on earth we're doing right up there?

"We've done incredibly well to be where we are and I tell the players, 'Just enjoy it. we've done brilliantly so far'. If we get beaten, we just move to the next game, we don't fret about it.”

The Rams go into the match at Pride Park on the back of a goalless draw against Nottingham Forest at the City Ground on Sunday.

The result means that Gary Rowett's side are without a win in their last seven league games.

In contrast, Cardiff are flying in the Championship at the moment, winning their last seven matches in a row and are seven points clear in the automatic promotion places.

NEIL WARNOCK:

“Derby will be up there come May.”

“We have looked at their likely team and they have players like (Bradley) Johnson, (Tom) Huddlestone, (Matej) Vydra, (Andreas) Weimann."

"Gary’s a good manager."

“You look at their (Derby’s) team sheet and it’s probably the best in the league on paper.”

"We have a genuine bunch, we feel we can beat anybody on our day.”

"I just think we can get better. We have players coming back from injury, so I can change two or three to give boys a breather. We're in a good place, but we can get better."

"I'm quite pleased to just tick along. I listened to others talking about Derby and Villa's credentials, so long may that continue.”

Derby County manager Gary Rowett.

I'm so in love with Neil Warnock I'd vote for him to be Prime Minister. He'd certainly do an awful lot better than the idiot we have at the moment. I wonder if he would set up his Cabinet as 4-3-3?

I hope Neil Warnock lives until he's 200 and he stays at City until then... A proper manager :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

What a job NW has done for us, astounded at the position we are in, we are so lucky to have him as our manager, as he says our wage bill compared to the other clubs mentioned we should be nowhere near the top two, but we are and are there on merit. What a climax to the season it is going to be.

This is a great response (at last...Brentford cancelled apart) Annis :thumbright:

I hope we give the team the support they need/deserve home and away for the remainder of this season :ayatollah:

I'm looking forward to this one and hoping the snow isn't too bad overnight Saturday for the trip up! :bluescarf:
