What a joke of a kick off time...and part of the reason why season tickets and crowds are all over the place.

It may be £100K but a right pain for some fans :banghead:

Don't these people realise that Casualty is on? :occasion5:

I will be there but this a ridiculous time to play on a Saturday. Sky are taking the piss, don't they realise that most families either go out together or stay in together on a Saturday evening. I suppose they don't care as long as they make money. Isn't it time something was done for the fans and not TV. I would imagine we will get a very poor crowd for this game. :banghead:

I guess they are predicting it could be the game that gets us promoted.

It’ll definitely be the game we get promoted in. I’m flying out to Fuerteventura that day just as I was out in Gran Canaria the day of the Charlton draw that saw us promoted last time

Wiggy, I totally agree terrible time and on a Sat night.

But before Xmas we had hardly any live games and our fans were moaning that we had not been chosen enough times.
The crowds were low way before Sky started getting involved.
And the game they did chose in the first 4 months was Leeds home and we had our highest of the season :thumbright:

Plus as we know wait till we get to the Prem, Sky really ness up our times.

Personally, I don’t see anything wrong with this but already people are moaning ffs.
It’s a one off so embrace it and get down there. Family night together? Sod that - have a night off and go with the boys etc. Couple of beers before/after - make a night of it.

No matter what time some will be effected, personally a day evening ko on a Saturday will be electric and this will draw a decent crowd as whatever our position be in the mix. For me it’s perfect, day with family equals happy wife then footy and beers in the evening avoiding the rubbish on tv. Perfect.
You have to go through the bad times to appreciate the good times!!!

That means we've played 8 home games 3 on a Saturday all season. I reckon it's probably knocked about 2000 of are average attendances

I now have one pissed off missus as I'd booked 4 in the family for the lad's 7th birthday as it was 3pm on the nearest Saturday to his birthday.

She's bloody raving that the kids will be knackered and she has to miss a long planned night out with the girls.

The city better make it a night to remember and bloody secure auto promotion in that match.

I'll be there, what a great Saturday it will be and will give us an extra incentive knowing what the clubs below and above would have already done?

I'm sat here laughing!

One thing is for sure...if that is THE game City have a chance of securing promotion (and it's still way too early to say) both genuine fans, part-timers and glory hunters will be there no matter what! ;)

The kick off time/day might not be the best but we should understand that it's because the media (Sky in particular of late) have finally realised that Neil Warnock's Cardiff City FC are actually 'the real deal' and are worthy of exposure! :thumbright:

As someone else (above) said, it'll be more of the same next season if/when he dream is realised, so we might as well start getting used to it and practicing in the er and now! :)

Loving it myself and happy to take the consequences of on-field success! :ayatollah: :bluescarf: :bluebird:
