We've been done. They should forfeit and be fined. Plus pay our wasted travel costs. Tossers.

How were they able to play Fulham a few weeks ago in much worse conditions? That is the question that MUST be explained by Derby and the football league and sky should be demanding it

I will stand by this, it suited Derby to call it off and they never pushed for it to go ahead, in fact they asked for it to be cancelled.

I think the whole thing is a real farce. I am not one of the people whose travelled nor have I got SKY TV so I'm not fuming about having travelled or not being able to watch it etc. This is really suspicious and I have no idea why the game can't be played tomrw night. The first internationals don't start until Thursday. And we play Burton Albion on the same week as internationals so that shouldn't be a problem. I think the whole thing should be investigated. Whether the police have called it off or the club - the police many of them are prob Derby fans anyway so what's the difference?

Annis I hope the club comes out and condemns derby if it's shown that game could have been played with little effort by derby ! Won't take couple minutes to look at surrounding areas. What defines surrounding area 20 miles? :banghead:

It's snows in brecon in august! ! :laughing6: Yes obviously some places bad but looking at pictures from Derby suspect derby didn't do a lot to get game on ?

Even if a kick off delay to get the so called staff in surely would have been fine. If they played Fulham kin 5 times worse conditions why not today.... Needs independent enquiry

What I am hearing Allan, is that our club officials are not happy about all this.

I see the pub at Pride Park is open as usual.

There is a suggestion that the club shop tweeted that it was open as usual and then deleted the tweet. But I believe this was a Photoshop jobbie.

2700 traveling Cardiff fans think and want Derby to be investigated. They should be fined, forfeit the game and reimburse all travel costs.

I think Sky are being somewhat evasive too, not really saying much on SSN other than officials have decided to call the game off??

feel like we been conned here but suppose can only take their word for it and anyone who thinks the football league are going to fight our corner are deluded!!

Have a safe journey back all.

I've not long come over Storey Arms and very poor driving conditions for anyone going that way.

Seen two pictures one by sky surrounding areas at ground slushy at worst but ok, another by derby showing couple feet of snow but at funny angle looking towards ground could been any where near ground? Greg Halford suggesting ott reaction to snow?

Just saw this on Neil Etheridge’ instagram. Not any snow at pride park, and with the emoji he’s used would suggest they feel there’s more to it than meets the eye.

Annis, surely Sky should now pull the plug (excuse the pun) on showing the game when rearranged then they might think twice about calling games off in future.

It's only £100k and would be punishing city fans as well who want to watch possible promotion game at pub

I blame this on Sky to be honest. Their crazy scheduling, by putting on winter games at 12 o'clock KO, gives clubs an opportunity to call off games for the smallest excuse. There's no doubt that this game would have gone ahead as a 3pm KO and Derby may be telling the truth about staff. You imagine these stewards getting up at 7am for £7 an hour, with a foot of snow outside, "nah, don't think so, Il go back to bed" that same steward looking at it, at 10am, is ready for the day. Another reason, why I have fallen out with modern day football. Sky o the one hand is great, but they have scant regard for the fans who attend games.
