FORMER CARDIFF PLAYERS HELPED RUIN ASTON VILLA'S CHANCES

Sat Mar 17, 2018 9:24 pm

Aston Villa and Fulham lost there chance to gather and gain points on Cardiff in 2nd.

Fulham started the day with a tough match against a team who beaten Aston Villa mid week. And so with a patchy performance from Fulham giving away possession too much. QPR had more of the ball to put there chances away and they did that with a late goal in the 1st half and another goal in the 2nd half, Fulham look shaky in matches even though they are unbeaten in 16 matches a club record.

Aston Villa's day was already in question with the blizzard conditions at Bolton Wanderers ground, and so with that said Bolton started well and was on Aston Villa straight from the get go, and when a corner was given to Bolton it seemed like things could be the same as the match before, and before you know it with no marking on former Cardiff City player Adam Le Fondra he just taps in the goal which could be the easiest in his football career and so as the game went on Aston Villa tried there best but there bet could not bring a goal to them.

3 Former Cardiff players played for Bolton against Aston Villa and all 3 had a solid performance, Adam Le Fondra, Andrew Taylor and Sammy Ameobi

Both Aston Villa and Fulham had there chance to put pressure on Cardiff, and missed it and so the Bluebirds can go 10 points ahead of 3rd place Fulham, if they beat Derby County tomorrow which is a solid place for Cardiff for a return to the Premier League.

Wolves on the other hand had won there match against Burton Albion, leaving Cardiff in 2nd with 6 points ahead. :ayatollah:
