VINCE ALM: “ REFUNDS “

Hi All regards refunds for this trip, we will confirm if tickets can be refunded with Cardiff City FC. Unfortunately we cannot do anything with the coach travel money as the buses will still need to be paid for about £6000. We will see if anything can be done regards this cost but as it stands it's very Unlikely.

Sorry for the inconvenience, I know many of you made an extraordinary effort to get to the coaches this morning in appalling conditions, including coach drivers who turned up for work early to avoid being snowed in.

personally I believe it's a poor show by Derby and the authorities, and I have received conflicting reports why the game was called off from official sources.


Will update if we have any further news.

MAybe Vincent will put his hand in his pocket in what will be a critical match. Gutted today, up at 5 like most. Roads seemed ok until Ross on wye but 2,700 away fans everybody buzzing and derby police and club saying all is good. Then all of a sudden match is off. Brentford got it right and appreciate different circumstances but bad call by derby.

Snow bad last night but roads ok this morning.

I live in ross on wye, I left at 8am and got as far as worcester with no problems

Public transport running in Derby staff could of made it in very dodgy

Over 2,600 fans making a Hurculean effort to support our fantastic team today

Wouldn't it be a genuine (and timely) gesture from the club to help with travel for the rearranged fixture?

Would go a long way to garner good relations IMHO

No games off yesterday

If this doesn’t warrant a investigation I don’t know what doesn’t! Derby FC will simply say there staff couldn’t travel in!

Should be investigated as club shop open for business today but game called off the mmmmmm

Just got back. Got to m5 when heard so 3 hours on road in total... Don't understand why called doff. Snow Not that bad? If we could have got there surely staff could. Why didn't they pre plan staff at risk. To stay in the local hotels. Poor planning

Morning Gents. First time poster on here although been reading this forum since god was a boy. Gutted about today was just about to set off. RE tickets, if we want to attend the rearranged fixture will the tickets we have now be able to be used for then if anyone knows. Thanks

Likely u can use same tickets for rearranged game. Assume refunds will be offered.

This is what we went through. This happened at Gloucester services north bound and 7 of us was still waiting for a replacement vehicle to get us there.

Derby just tweeted this and then removed it. Also still in services awaiting a taxi to take us back home.

Yes mate seen it on Twitter in regards to the derby mega store tweet but the car I was in all 7 of us are ok and one the way home in taxi.

Yeah it was real it was deleted pretty swiftly, they’ve now tweeted that they’ve had to close due to safety.

How about the club put on free travel for re arranged game and we take 5,000 there

It wouldbe more dangerous if they triedto travel home in these terrible conditions
This is a totall lack of respect and deliberate cheating not just on us but also the other teams chasing a play off place
