But Steve, that's no excuse! In which case why the hell didn't they equip their staff with ropes, crampons and sherpas? Bad eggs these Rams!

They should have employed St Bernard dogs to help staff find way to ground? :laughing6:

Just back from Derby. Where was this announcement made ? Not on thier site ? Only found out at ground , which was easy to access and park . Brian Clough way was as wide open as thier defence will be when we get to play them.

information they feel is relevant, before responding further.

@EFL: The decision to postpone this afternoon’s fixture between @dcfcofficial and @CardiffCityFC was made first thing this morning following discussions between Derby County, Derbyshire Police and the local Safety Advisory Group (SAG).

@EFL: It was taken in the interests of spectator safety following heavy overnight snow falling in the Derby area which had built up on the roads surrounding the stadium.

Cardiff City were informed of the decision and the reasons behind it as soon as it was reached.

Wake up and smell the coffee you idiots!!

Health & safety was breached as away supporters who had to travel the furthest did travel therefore the safety of them was not thought of.

If the travelling was so difficult for the home support why was it ok for them to travel in to the club shop

2 weeks ago we had the worst snow is many years and was far worse than today but their home game went ahead

Why Leicester in the same area have their game on today

Truth is Derby cheated they have suspensions and injuries and didn't want to play us so a flicker of snow give them the excuse to postpone it and I am not paranoid if this was not us there would be an investigation and if it was us postponing
a game like this we would have points taking from us and a million pound fine. :banghead:

24 miles between Derby's & Leicester's grounds. I'll bet a fair few of the Leicester staff live closer to Derby's ground. They must have got in. BBC have shown high aerial shots of Leicester. I couldn't see any snow. Yes it's a few hours later, but why couldn't the game have been put back a few hours today? :banghead:

I have done, but I think I'd be more likely to get the winning lottery numbers next week than get any positive response from the EFL! We are talking about Cardiff City here. :laughing5:

We've stayed in Derby. Looking out the window there are a few five a side games being played just by Pride Park. Health and safety indeed.

We stayed in Derby, about a mile from the ground, on Saturday night.
Could not believe it was called off. Loads of shops open and people walking around.
Went to the ground just to see what it was like - absolutely clear, nothing. Couple of guys clearing what little snow was on some of the pavements.
Met Neil Warnock & Ronnie Jepson, to say they weren't happy is an understatement.
We also got chatting with some Derby fans, some who had travelled a fair distance - they couldn't believe it either.
They told us that Derby played recently and conditions around the ground were much worse then.
Starbucks in the Stadium was open, Club shop was open, Pub called the Yard, next to the stadium, openly advertised it was safe & open for business.

Draw your own conclusions

Getting 3 points today would have been massive. Of course it was a tough game and no guarantee of points, but I’d rather play them today that later on in a jam packed April. This could prove very costly.

Do we have the final say as regards the reply date?

Believe we play when we're told to play?
