Bamba: Tonight we're disappointed; tomorrow's another day

No fear for Bluebirds squad as key man Sol faces press...

SOL BAMBA:

“We never get too high when we win or too low when we lose,” said Sol. “We’re obviously disappointed, but we’ll pick ourselves up and go again now. Sometimes football isn’t fair, but you move on.

“We’re going to try and win as many of these remaining six games as we can. We’re disappointed, but we’ll get over this.

“We play football to play in big games. I think everybody saw the effort we put in [against Wolves], but unfortunately we came out on the wrong side of the result.”

The Bluebirds remain five points clear of third-placed Fulham and travel to fourth-placed Aston Villa on Tuesday evening.

But Bamba’s response when asked how the squad will react going forward was emphatic, simply stating: “We don’t look down, we look up. It’s business as usual and we’re not worried about anybody in the league.

“We stick together as a group, win or lose. This is a strong group and it’s our job [as senior players] to make sure everyone rests up and then goes again.

And to close proceedings, Bamba’s message to Bluebirds supporters was emphatic.

He said: “Nobody expected us to be here and I’m confident we’ll be okay. Enjoy yourselves and stick behind us, like I’m sure [you] will.

“Tonight we’re disappointed, but tomorrow is another day.”

Well said Sol, we are all disappointed, but we are still five points ahead of the Fulham and need to move on and support the team through these next six games :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Love this guy. His passion for the shirt and empathy with the fans is truly superb. :ayatollah:

One of the good guys. If he were ever to go into managemen I'd like him here! :bluebird:

He was superb last night. Not only does he speak and play with passion, but he has real quality to go with it. Arguably the best defender we’ve had in the last 10 years?

Great words from Sol there but wasn’t he the one who was sat against the goal post totally despondent at the end. I am not having a go here just saying despite his words these results means the world to him. Wouldn’t have him any other way. Still gutted over Friday night but I was more disappointed obverse the performance over 90 mins than the 2 missed penalties if I’m honest.

We're lucky to have him the best defender in the championship great comments Sol we get up and go again. :thumbright: :ayatollah:
On 13th December 2016 one man stood up to be counted against a pack of Wolves his name was Kenneth Zohore.
