A first goal continues to elude the striker and, barring one second-half chance, there wasn't much sign of that changing. Held the ball up well at times, but you can tell confidence is very low.

No surprise that his confidence is low after his pen miss in a huge game.

Let’s hope that he is saving his share for the 4 upcoming cup finals. As soon as he gets one he will probably score often.

People on here have a limited knowledge of what it takes to be a player. Warnock thought he played well!! Mind games????

To be fair though Madine hasn't started most of those games

Its called good man management giving the lad some confidence!

I guessed as much hence mind games comment. I wasnt there to witness him playing. However, given his pedigree this signing was a strange.

But I trust Warnocks judgement 100

It seems as if fate is going to play its twisted part and he'll score to send us up against Derby
