Absolutely but doubt we could afford him. Destined for the top and I'll be surprised if he's still at Fulham even if they do go up.

Worth a punt ? Really

First you have to fight off all the top teams for him then your looking 30mil or however high it goes in a bidding war wages will be through the roof when big boys are involved

Never no he may pick Cardiff over the big teams

No this is not realistic but yes he would be decent

He'll be snapped up by a top half Prem team then loaned back to Fulham more than likely.

I know I will be in the minority here...but I don't get the hype tbh. I know he's 17, but the games I've seen I don't see anything that warrants the praise he gets. Will be interesting to see how his career goes from here.

He would be the last player I would think about slinking a load of cash on for our first season back in the prem, I would rather get Matty Phillips for 1/5th of the price. Whilst at West Brom t try and take Dawson from them too!too

He’s crap. Does’nt go around kicking people and doesn’t lump the ball forward.

Had a purple patch Jan, but still don't think he warrants the attention and awards. I know he's talented and young, but hasn't stood out in the games I've seen him. He scored in 9 games out of 46, and generally the goals have come against the weaker sides (excluding the one against us) which if I remember was handed to him rather than created.
If he wasn't English, he wouldn't be talked up as much.
Hoillett was better at that age.....so I'm told

Can you imagine if it was a Cardiff youngster he’d be better than Ronaldo!

He’s 17!! Has had an amazing season scored a lot of goals.. every time I’ve seen him play looks there best threat he destroyed us down here a couple of times.

Langstone Blue you know they boys been playing left back? To rack up the assists and goals from the position he's been playing is top class, even if you say wing back. Can play Left back, left wing, up top. Has pace and end product. Defensively against Brentford he was top draw as well, what's not to like about him, I'd take him to the World Cup over Ashley Young every day of the week

Comparison

Hoilett, our best player this season in my opinion, our most potent attacking weapon and top scorer, 27 years of age, in his prime and a left winger so more advanced

40 appearances
9 goals
11 assists

Don't get confused by where the EFL placed him in the team of the year, he's been playing left wing/forward for 80% of the season.

Barcelona tracking him apparently but if this Langston guy doesn’t rate him that’s good enough for me.

I didn't say I didn't rate him, just that he is over hyped as normal. I will be very very surprised if Barcelona fork out £40m on him.
Be nice to see him too somthing at the highest level of football first

Don't just blatantly make up a statistic to support your argument

DL (Defender Left) 19 2 2 6.82
FWL (Forward Left) 15 6 2 7.21
AML (Attacking Midfielder Left) 7 6 2 7.4
DML (Defensive Midfielder Left) 1 0 0 6.4
Sub (Substitute) 1 0 0 6.26

Ofcourse its still a punt. We all know one good season doesnt make a great player and yes he would prob cost 15 mil for a young player. Whilst i believe he will be in the prem next yr id be surprised if it was with a top club yet as he hasnt even proved himeself in the top league. And if he does have a good season next yr then yea bigger clubs may come in but i believe they wont yet.

Not sure what stat I have made up? He has scored in 9 games out of 46 (including cup games).

I assume your stats say he has scored 2 out of 14whilst playing fullback? So again most of his goals have come from playing wing/attack. The games at fullback were first part of the season, and lets face it people talked his as a talent but he was not headline news. The change to further forward coincided with a purple patch of goals which people jumped on.

So...what stat have I made up?

Ahhh I see the other post saying 80% of games more forward. I'm surprised he played 15 games at fullback..but again early season where just being takes of as a talent. Would he have one player of the year etc..if he stayed playing as a fullback? I would suggest no

I agree you could even make the same case for Callum Paterson who was a full back converted to a midfielder who then went on to score a number of goals :D

Stand back and wait for the £30m bids to come rolling in ;)

You’ve said he’s scored 9 goals with 80% of his games in attack

He’s scored 15 goals with only 50% of his games in an attacking wing position with 6 assist on top

You can see the kid has it just hope they don't over hype him for his own sake. This is what usually happens to raw and in particular English talent.

Imo Ramsey was another level to him at the same age there or there abouts.
