NEIL WARNOCK: " MAKE NO MISTAKE ABOUT IT, IF I GET CARDIFF PROMOTED IT WILL BE THE BIGGEST ACHIEVEMENT OF MY LIFE "

Cardiff City have their promotion destiny in their own hands right now after things went their way over the weekend in the Championship.
Fulham’s draw combined with the Bluebirds’ win has ensured that, if the Welsh side wins their last four games, they will be automatically promoted to the Premier League.
Certainly, it’s a position many connected with the club would have bitten your arm off for if offered at the start of the season and it’s clear that Neil Warnock has done a superb job in charge in South Wales.
A man who has achieved many promotions in his career in charge of a club, it looks as though this one – if it happens – would be his best to date.
He told us:
“If, if is a big word.
“But if we get promoted it would be the biggest achievement in my whole life, make no mistake.”
Undoubtedly, it would be a considerable highlight on a CV that’s dotted with promotions and club turnarounds and it seems as though he’d rank it right at the top.
As for the Manager of the Year award itself, the 69-year-old expressed his happiness at the accolade but was quick to praise his team too:
“I’m delighted, it’s a real honour.
“The lads have been brilliant, technically we’re not the most gifted squad but we’re a great bunch and I’ve really enjoyed managing them.
“I just enjoy the game when I create a group of players like this, I get so excited.”
Evidently, Cardiff and Warnock remain in good spirits despite recent losses to Wolves and Aston Villa and with four games now separating them from the top flight, they, as they have been all season, seem up for the battle.

That's good of him to say given his achievements. He and we deserve if but it still is a big if. Whether we do or not, I'd happily watch Warnock's Warriors for years as it won't be for the lack of trying. This team will run through walls for NW and the shirt & also genuinely appreciate our fans - thats all a Cardiff supporter ever wants to see.
I cannot wait for Derby and Hull away - we will generate a massive atmosphere as we will also for Forest and Reading at home.
NW now my favourite City manager since the late '70's and long may it continue.

We really couldn't ask for much more Annis. Four games left for Warnock's Warriors - we need to travel in numbers to our last two aways and also pack the CCS and make a right old racket which I know we can. This is the big push and times like this don't come around too often.
