I was there courtesy of Titchy’s Rhymney Valley express - boiling hot afternoon, early stop off in Goole for a few, then a few more, then a few too many...last coach in, just made kick off! Great drama, Keith gives them a pen which Marshy saves, we go up their end he gives us a pen (never known!) which we score to draw the match.

They had to wait 15 minutes until Watford game finished to know if they were promoted!

I was there that day, what an awesome day it was, we were winding up the Hull fans that congregated on the pitch in front of us and had to wait 15 mins to know if they were promoted as Watford’s game was delayed, we were cheering a few times as if to let them know that Watford had scored then let them know we were joking Fair play to them though as they clapped us for winning the league
