Derby County v Cardiff City This Tuesday night :bluebird:

The big Pride Park showdown is already a mouth-watering prospect thanks to off-the-field events creating some intriguing sub-plots.

The Sean Morrison video , the snow postponement, the comments exchanged between Warnock and Gary Rowett... throw into that mix that the influence of three former Bluebirds in Joe Ledley, Cameron Jerome and Tom Lawrence and you have a truly titanic tussle.

Ledley, who made 229 appearances for Cardiff in a stint that saw him become a fan favourite, was also touted for a return to South Wales last summer, before his switch to the east midlands.

Jerome moved to Derby from Norwich in January, having previously scored 24 goals in 73 Bluebirds appearances.

However, it may be Lawrence — whose had a 14-game loan spell under Russell Slade with Cardiff — who could inflict the most damage on Warnock's men with his pace and direct running.
