We’re pleased to confirm that the Club will be hosting a Premier League celebration in the city centre on Sunday, 13th May.

The Bluebirds will embark upon an open-top bus parade from Cardiff City Stadium at 3pm, before heading north along Leckwith Road. They’ll then turn into Cowbridge Road East and travel all the way along Cowbridge Road East, over Canton Bridge and onto Castle Street.

The team are expected to arrive at Cardiff Castle between 4.30pm and 5pm where they will be met by the Leader of Cardiff Council and the Lord Mayor. Neil Warnock and the players will then take to an open-air stage to address supporters.

The city is hosting a Car Free Day on Sunday which includes the family-friendly HSBC UK LET’s RIDE Cardiff bike ride. Both events happen around the castle and significant road closures will be in place throughout the day from 5.30am until 8pm.

Cardiff City Football Club supports the Council’s Car Free Day and is asking supporters to take thisopportunity to travel into the city by bus, train, on bikes or on foot to enjoy the event which runs from 10am-3pm.

Car Free Day has been planned for some time, so we also want to thank Cardiff Council for doing everything they can to let us bring our parade into the city centre on the same day.

The entertainment scheduled for Car Free Day will end before the parade reaches the castle, but families are welcome to come down and enjoy the fun before the open-top bus arrives in the city centre. You can read more about Car Free Day and the significant Sunday road closures by clicking here

Once the team arrive at the castle, Neil Warnock and the players will take to an open-air stage to address supporters amidst what we know will be a family-friendly, party atmosphere. Our supporters are invited to join us for the free festivities, at the castle or at any point they wish to see the Parade along the way.

We are conscious that there is limited room in front of the castle and safety on the day will be of paramount importance. We ask fans to remember this on the day especially as the area surrounding the castle will be fully utilised by Car Free Day events up until 3pm on Sunday.

We look forward to seeing you all Sunday and rounding the season off in style!

I think the club are in the hands of the City Council with what they can and can’t do.

I’ll be there, grinning and pinching myself!

Bluebirds Confirm Open Top Bus Tour This Sunday 13th May 2018

Wednesday 9th May 2018

Manager Neil Warnock and his Bluebirds team are going on an open top bus tour of Cardiff this Sunday.

Cardiff City did the same when they earned promotion in 2013 when the streets were filled with supporters cheering the team.

Warnock’s men will start from Cardiff City Stadium at 3pm before heading north along Leckwith Road.

They will then turn into Cowbridge Road East, over Canton Bridge and onto Castle Street.

The team are expected to arrive at Cardiff Castle between 4.30pm and 5pm where they will be met by the Leader of Cardiff Council and the Lord Mayor.

I know there are other events affecting what we can do but that is a shit route.

Callaghan Square and straight down Lloyd George Avenue to the Bay and Roald Dahl Plas.

Can't make it as i'll be driving my Daughter back to Wolverhampton.

The club should have done it the following weekend on a Saturday to accommodate everybody, you're going to see loads of people in town on Sunday that won't have a clue at what's going on.

I hope everybody off here who goes has a cracking afternoon

If I had young kids I might go, but think it'll be a flop myself. We finished 2nd, imo no need for it to take place.

Not the best route I agree but Roald Dahl Plas is being used for Summer Oktoberfest this weekend, so it's difficult to see what else could be done.

Thanks Gaynor, I hadn't checked what was on. Seems we were stuck really. I'd say have it all at the stadium with a proper pitch walk but there is probably a Circus in town.

stop with the moaning - enjoy it ffs!

For me I wouldn't care where they are or how long they are there - I'll be there.

Boys have been brilliant, and the club has done the best they can. They don't own the City, sadly.

Years ago they wouldn't have let us near the place.
