Demonstrated by their Man City FA Cup game, the real fans hated it. The Stadium was filled with football tourists and fans who wanted to see the opposition.
They will have 33,000...
Of which 3,000 will be Away supporters
And around 15,000 will be their true fans
And the other 15,000 will be made up of the sporadic supporters who only turn up because of the prem and the big clubs.

We had some of these fans of our own, but our capacity only allowed for fewer to obtain seasons and match tickets...


Anyway this is my prediction, who knows. If they were to surpass our Premier League Acheivements I would be extremely astounded. Unless they were taken over by a Russian Oil Magnet or Sheiks from an Arabian Monarchy...

Looking at a poor bottom half of the prem this season and some of our poor performances where we got results there are clubs in there they can get points, alot will depend on who they bring in, they have mentioned 6-8 players, there are positives this time compared to their last promotion. It could be seen as Warnocks last throw of the dice to get something in the prem, stranger things have happened.

Their team will not handle the Championship as they are not up for it.
Massive changes will be needed.
My prediction is they will be like Wigan, Charlton, Blackburn and Sunderland.

Steve, whilst you are mathematically correct, are you seriously worried? I mean seriously? Swansea scoring one goal will be a feat in itself, 3 or 4 a bloody miracle. And then the Saints have to lose by 6 or 7! C'mon man get a grip.

Clearly swansea has no sewers (remember Cardiff gets everything) as whoever settled there didn’t see it worth investing in, let’s be honest, compared to Cardiff it’s like an African village.......

Let’s be honest it’s all they’ve had over us the last few years, and in fairness they’ve had the bragging rights (football wise) and now that’s come to an end, all we’re going to hear is remember when we had 7 seasons in the premier league!! Well this will be our second and counting, rather be in our position than theirs all day long. Both got foreign owners but at least ours listens to the fans (eventually). Forgot to mention bigger and better, ground, fan base, premier league, castles, the fore shore, the bay, the welsh assembly, walesonline, electrification of the railway and so on and so on..........bite the bullet and move to Cardiff so much less to moan about

Agree about Swansea as a city even with significant investment it's still a sh1thole as city's go.
My work takes me around the UK and Europe and it's Swansea and Leicester I see as 2 of the worse city's around, more like big towns, pretty sh1tty towns.

I have to agree with a lot of your view. We might hate them but they overachieved for 7 years and that is quite amazing really considering the small resource of the club, city and fan base.

So the way the greatest period in their history is ending, relegation with Cardiff of all teams directly taking their place would be enough to make any set of supporters bitter and grasp at straws.

The fact is the moment Huw the Spew sold out to the White Sox the Jacks were on a downward trajectory and only luck has kept them up until now. They are busted financially and the parachute payments will be swallowed up paying for liabilities they still have and of course reimbursing the American's for the money paid to Huw and the gang.

I honestly can't see them getting back to the EPL any time soon.
So much competition in the championship , the three that don't make it in the play offs , the teams coming up , the relegated teams .
And that's not counting the so called big sides .
