How the final Premier League table is supposed to look next season
It’s safe to say Cardiff City defied the odds to gain promotion into the promised land of the Premier League.
Having been written off by bookmakers and pundits alike, the Bluebirds took the Championship by storm and clinched the all-important second automatic promotion spot on the final day of the campaign to spark wild celebrations across the Welsh capital.
Following the conclusion of the 2017-18 Premier League campaign, Sky Bet have offered odds on the fortunes of 19 sides confirmed for next season, with the final team still to be determined through the Championship’s play-offs.
Using the odds they’ve given, here’s how they think the table will look next season...

The play off winners
We are playing in a mini league of 10 teams forget every one else. Any points taken off teams out of this list are a bonus.
We need 12 wins meaning we can lose 8 times to any of these teams plus a few draws to stay up.
Why Burnley are put in 15th is a mystery they are a very solid team now and difficult to beat. They will be top 10 easily again.

I see Arsenal higher up with new management, Everton and Southampton way down the list also. Reckon we will not be rock bottom. Of course all of this is futile until the summer transfer window closes and we see what everyone’s got.

Usually a club like Burnley will struggle if they are in Europe as well.
