Joe Hart Anyone?

Press reporting that there may not be any Premiership suitors for Joe Hart. Got to be worth considering a loan deal from Man City if his wages were reduced/partly paid by Man City.

Fabianski would be a good shout but with Hart’s experience you can’t go wrong and he would want to prove a
point for missing out going to Russia.

Etheridge had a decent season but a big step up to the Premiership. Good for Etheridge to learn from someone with that experience.

Thoughts?

His wages would be sky high and for me not the type of character to have around the dressing room.

Quite frankly he's an average GK whos shit

He didn't want leave, so who knows - good keeper for us who has got better in the prem.

He will have difficulty ousting Nick Pope from the main GK duties, that kid has seriously impressed me latter half of season

a POOR PLAYER

IT STILL AMAZES ME HOW LONG A "NAME" LIVES FOR PLAYERS AND MANAGERS WHO HAVE DONE NOTHING ACCEPT MAYBE 1 OR 2 SEASONS IN A 10 TO 15 YEAR CAREER

AN BEING AN INTERNATIONAL FOR ANY UK SIDE IS NO GUARRANTEE OF QUALITY

I'd take Hart if the wages were right, which they wont be.

In terms of team spirit you'd say there's no chance. He'd expect to be number one here straight away and I think Etheridge has earned a crack himself...

HOWEVER, I know he gets over-hyped and what not and somewhere in between the hype and those who say he's awful I think there is a good keeper in there. We all know what Warnock is like with his man-management and he'd probably tell Hart it's time to quit the slippery shampoo adverts and get "ugly".

I can't see it happening, and he isn't my favourite character but I think he's someone again who Warnock could work wonders on.

Hennessey available in a free from palace. I'd take him and let him and Etheridge battle it out.

Would also look to get heaton as well. Cant be happy sitting on the Bench at Burnley?

Speroni is available too by the looks : - think Warnock worked with him before?

Late 30s I think now but would be ok for a back up I think?

He's shit, there is talk of him going to Scotland with Gerrard, Fabianski is the standard we need to be looking at or above.

Etheridge had a great season and I would be surprised if Warnock risks team spirit-and money- by bringing in a replacement. So anyone he does bring in will be back up. If so that will rule out the likes of Hart, Heaton, Hennersey etc as they will want first team football. Hard to find experienced back up willing to sit on the bench and wait for his chance. Marshall would fit the bill if he moderated his wages but not sure if its a good idea going back. But its that type of keeper that Warnock will probably be looking at.

No thanks. Not for me on his wages. Lethbridge is going to be No 1 so we are only going to be looking for a back up. I'd rather have David Marshall or Alan McGregor back

You've said this on other threads I don't know how you keep saying games:

Etheridge will be unavailable from January 1st to the 19th at a minimum which could see 3 league games in that time played.

You keep saying they won't progress past group stage as if its fact, didn't pundits and so called experts say the same about Wales in the euros?

You can plan for your 2 games but Ill put money in warnock planning on worst case scenario.

the plan is the same though.... we need a keeper :?

doesnt matter if he misses 2 or 20

and it is a fact that they wont get out of their group and no.... i think most people were optimistic that Wales would get our of theirs werent they? i certainly was.

Not going to the WC. Not wanted by West Ham & poor form. He will not leave Man City with 1 year left and be loaned again. His last big contract
