WALES EURO CAMPAIGN TICKET

Postby barry boy » Thu May 17, 2018 6:43 pm

The FAW have surely shot themselves in both feet with their pricing structure for the 2020 Euros Campaign Tournament / Season Ticket.

3 categories of adult tickets with the pitch side tickets going up a whopping £48 from last time. Up from £120 to £168.

To include 6 matches , 2 of the friendly Nations matches. Last time it was 6 World Cup group matches.

There are £120 tickets but probably not the best seats and who wants to sit there in a half empty stadium against Denmark ?

Much better financial sense to buy individual tickets for the games, as its only a couple of quid saving to have the tournament ticket. Miss one match and you lose out heavily.
Why put the prices up ?
Greed !

Are you nuts?! I’ve just renewed mine. £120 in the Canton 106. Great atmosphere in there for Wales games. £20 a game for international football. Can’t fault it.

Took look at booking site as a member! If bought previous wc taunament ticket your seat used then is reserved until 17june, it appears that at moment 99% of all stadium seats are held by previous taunament holders as very few available! as for price mine upper Ninian near middle is £120

That's OK can see lots complaints about no seats avaliabl! but basically everyone who was a wc taunament holder got same seats until June 17th so really only odd single seat available in ground until then

All Ninian tickets are £168....and increase of £48 on last tournament when there were 6 meaningfull matches...not 4 plus 2 "friendlies" this time.

Only behind both goals are £120.

Mmmm just looked although signed in they apparently want you to get red wall membership? ??? I'm presuming £120 is old prices as when go to checkout it's saying I'm not a red wall member even though they are reserving my seat! so guess get red wall membership and see price then :banghead:

I haven't renewed for the Ninian Stand as the price went up quite a bit from the last campaigns. I now bought 3 tickets in level 5 for £120 each.

I enjoy all the games, seen loads of friendlies. But I think the Nations will be a "friendly" competition where teams try out players etc. I doubt if the non regular walk up fans will "walk Up" in their hoards for the Irish & Denmark games, which is why I think those matches should have lower price tickets.
We shall see, I just think the FAW having attracted a loyalfollowing should have kept its prices down. The Canton & Grange Stands have only had a small increase in price.

The plan of categories and pricing is on one of the drop downs, but it took me ages to find it. Basically behind the goals is Category 3, Corner flags 2, and both touchlines, from the goal lines, is Category 1.

We can qualify for the EUROS via the nations league so doubt they will be treated as friendlies by the manager .Having said that , it is new so maybe some fans will see these games as glorified friendlies as you do..?
