Rangers and Celtic have a few advantages over other clubs on that list

1. they are expected to win most of their games as the general standard of opposition in the Scottish Premiership is so poor
2. Travelling distances are , on average , far shorter
3. their away allocation is not restricted in the same way as it is for Premier League clubs - the usual restriction is the size of the home clubs ground capacity

And a few disadvantages aswell wouldn't you say...

First of all the other teams on that list have around as many games on their doorstep ie travelling distances as the two Scottish Teams.

Leeds have loads of games on their doorstep, over half their games are less than 100 miles away
Man Utd and Liverpool each have 6 games less than 50 miles away
Villa have at least 5 games less than 50 miles away plus loads within 100 or so

When you factor in Rangers and Celtic are sometimes visiting these teams twice in a season for League game I think that balances it out, Rangers and Celtic only get to go to 11 different other grounds, whilst the other teams on the list get to go to 19 or 23 depending on who they are. You also have to consider the 'standard' of Football on offer.

As for point 3, Rangers and Celtic's 'official' away crowd will only be what they are given, so when they play each other, Aberdeen, Hibs and Hearts they get no extras, the grounds are small and the away allocations restricted, That leaves the other 7 who's grounds are even smaller, they are restricted in every way, New Douglas Park only hold 5,500, Victoria Park only hold 6,500.

In the Premiership with the exception of Bournemouth and possibly Watford I doubt any team is getting less than 3,000 if they want them so are no more restricted than the Rangers and Celtic.

Fair play to them I say, when you factor in everything Rangers and Celtics support is phenomenal.

"We do get a bigger percentage of the grounds but grounds are smaller so actual ticket numbers would be about the same as most grounds in England, like Hibs only have Rangers 1500. Rangers sold out every away game again last season"

Thomas Fish: Annis what RV Casual wrote on there is spot on. Over half the allocations will be smaller than what premier league / championship clubs get so the numbers are incredible really

point 3..your absolutely correct which makes the total of 157,662 rediculous...?
same applies to Leeds 149,239 an average of 6,490.....which in this day and age is quite simply impossible..as are Man United and Liverpools who will have 3k allocations at best 19 x 3k = 57k

We (Rangers) have always had a terrific away support. Even when playing in the bottom league and playing friendlies in Havant(Lee Rigby game) and all over England..

We do indeed play these others teams including the filth away twice a year and we will generally always get a higher gate at away grounds due to the opposition team not having that many "fans" at their own ground. This is what makes me laugh cause when that smaller team plays in a final against us, all the plastics come out of woodwork for tickets.

I would bet any money on it if we played in England, we would still top the charts what with transport being far eaiser to access now and Rangers having a wide wide UK support.
