Ryan Giggs has chosen the 23 players that will make the journey to Pasadena in California for the international challenge match against Mexico on 28 May.


The squad will take part in an open training session on Monday (21 May) at Wrexham’s Racecourse Ground, where over 3000 school children will be in attendance along with members of the public.

The challenge match against Mexico is being played at the Rose Bowl, which was the venue for the 1994 FIFA World Cup Final in addition to hosting five Super Bowl games.

For Mexico, the match against Wales is preparation ahead of their participation at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, where they will play Germany, Sweden and Korea Republic in Group F.

Your entitled to your opinion but it's got 8 players who played in the Euros and were mainstays in the last two campaigns.

Declan is thriving at Rangers, Harry Wilson is a class kid and a Tom Lawrence has plenty of ability, it's a good blend of youth and experience and the best your gunna get from that squad.

We cold do with a top striker coming through but if you swapped Vokes for Bale and ledley for Allen I would be happy with that side along with the likes of Ampadu/Woodburn and the other kids coming through things are looking good.

Its the best he can do and tbh he is on to a hidng for nothing as team needs a change in direction from Coleman's tactics, and its going to take time which because of the change in international games he's not got lot of manouvrability .
