I can remember us being linked to him a couple of months ago and celtic had a bid rejected from motherwell in January. He was released by sunderland in 2012 and spent a couple of years in the lower leagues even getting relegated from league 2 with Hartlepool. However he was picked up by Motherwell and last year had the season of his life keeping 16 clean sheets, reaching 2 cup finals and making his northern Ireland debut at the age of 30 years old. Carson's recent rise isn't too different to Neil Etheridge and could be the right player with the right mentality to come in and push him for the no1 spot next season.
