The loanees whose Cardiff future is unclear

While we’re still waiting on the announcement of Cardiff City’s retained list for 2018, there are a number of loan players whose future at the club appears to be coming to an end — or at least their futures need to be sorted.

Will we see any of these players in a Cardiff shirt next season?

Do you want any of these players back?

Liam Feeney

Marko Grujic

Yanic Wildschut

Armand Traore

Craig Bryson

Would be happy with the following:
Grujic (squad, maybe starter)
Traore (squad)
Bryson (squad)

The rest, thanks very much for the efforts put in but can leave

Only Grujic and Traore. I see the others offering zilch in the Premier. I hope we get real this time and not make the mistake of keeping sub quality players like we did last time.

Think Traore would suit wingbacks, which we might well deploy v. stronger teams, especially away.
Having said that, we've never looked convincing playing this system.....lack of a Ryan Fredericks at right back!

Traore I don’t think was a loan, he was released and signed after the window wasn’t he??

Would be worth keeping Bryson.

He has got a great engine & a player you could bring on to close down the opposition when defending a lead. Always gives 100%.

From what I have seen of Wildschut he is a far better player thanot what we saw ofor him last season, bar his debut, which I thought showed great promise. But if he was acquired for reasonable fee/wage it may not turn out to be a bad signing.

I believe Wildchut’s debut was against Sunderland. Yes he did look good when he came on but my mother would have looked good against that Sunderland team. Not good enough for the premiership.

I seem to remember the write up at the time saying he was signed until the end of the season.

I’d take him on a free with low wages as cover for Bennett and look for a new 1st choice RB, releasing either Pelts or Jazz.

What games do you watch?

He was one of in 3 players that actually pass the ball forward more than 10 yards without nearly falling over.. his height and prescience would be well needed in the Prem. I would choose Bryson over him everyday of the week.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion but I'm with Dando. During that 10 ( I think ) period he was the best player on the pitch.
He won every header and completed the majority of his passes. He looked a bit shakey on the ball at times but that comes with confidence and experience.

I just think the reason on the playing side the last time we went up and the reason we went down was we carried too many players who were solid in the championship and could do the dirty work but no-one that could take a risk and receive the ball next to an opponent or within 5 yards of an opponent and someone could play a ball more than 10 yards forward or dribble with the ball over the halfway line without having skids half way down their legs like eg Andrew Taylor.

He is built for the Premier League and I feel like going safe and with the easy option for players like Bryson would be the reason we come straight back down.

We will really lack a player like him if we don't go for him or someone similar, we need a ball player in the middle.. all good having 110% workhorses in the Championship but they will get run into the ground by some of the midfielders in the Prem.
I will.
