Plus to be honest in my opinion Halford is a bottom half Champ player at best, so No way will we surely have him next season.

Greg Halford appears to have played his final game for the Bluebirds, with the 33-year-old set to be released by the club.

Wouldn't surprise me at all if he signed a 1 year deal. Type of player who will be happy to not be in the match squad and not disrupt the first team but ready incase of injuries to be on the bench. Doubt he is on a huge wage either.

There's no point in him though. Not even good enough for the champ let alone the prem. Surely we have youth teamers who could offer the same cover.

Not sure, they offer the physical approach he does. When he has come in I think he has done reasonably well. I can see reasons both ways to be honest. If he did sign a new deal though I wouldn't be concerned.

I would be I’m all for not spending stupid money on players but if we have Greg Halford in a match day squad in the premier league I think we are definitely driving the struggle bus.

We need to add better players an unfortunately for him he’s going to be one of the players that is going to make way for them.
