Last season for Sunderland, Didier Ndong was better

Mon Jun 04, 2018 7:34 pm

Last season for Sunderland, Didier Ndong was better per 90 than any Cardiff central midfield player in:
Tackles won (2.65)
Successful passes (30.99)
Forward passes (26.40)
Assists (0.19)

And that’s with a struggling / relegated team

Thoughts?

In fairness they are going to say that after the seasons they had.

Yet after relegation from the prem they literally turned down big offers for him

The games I seen him for Sunderland he was shocking. Not someone you need in the trenches as warnock insists

Very true but not happy with the reported 7m plus for him? 2 to 3m max

I got to agree. It's not an exciting signing. No Gary Medel signings this time round

Fair point but remember for every Gary Medel signing Malky kept 9 Championship level players. Hopefully Warnock will be more ruthless

Malky was very lucky he had DJ’s signings as our backbone
