......if he such a stellar player, why has he been frozen out at West Spam and on returning, why do they seemingly noy want to keep him?

Genuine question..... if he is so good, why is everyone in the Premier league, from Everton down, not in a long line rady to sign him?

Clubs are not lined up because there are better players they can afford.

You are making the mistake of thinking Premier League status means all clubs are equal.

No offence but we know our crabbing net is bought at The Range and not a decent Angling shop. We do manage to bait ex Warnock players (crabs) with some tasty bacon, we are PL, we need to bait with mackerel IMO and catch larger crabs. Some would argue we need a few lobsters for the seafood soup (squad)

Slaven Bilic was manager and was farmed out on loan for the next season, but not before there was the venting of a lot of bad blood both ways on behalf of the Hammers' hierarchy and the player himself, ultimately ending in a situation where a return to West Ham United was all but impossible.

Exactly, we are shopping in the basement in comparison to the top teams in the Premier League. If teams like the Manchester clubs can spend 170-200m in a Transfer Window (every year) would they really be looking at players of Snodgrass’s level ? Clubs can/should only spend what they can afford so there is no way that City would be able to capture the top players because firstly we don’t have the cash and secondly most of the top players want to go to a top team to play Champions League football.

Every club is shopping in a different store - some at the top end of the market whilst others look for the bargains. Fair to say that we are in that category.

We need to look at it realistically. Prem wise we are last choice with regards to players wanting to come too us.
So we need to look at players which have question marks around them but are top/too good for championship. Just in case we do go down.

i would take snodgrass over any other rumour so far,he has a good free kick,a hard working team player with a nasty streak that warnock likes and has proven that he is willing to play in the championship if we go back down.
