Former Aston Villa loanee Sam Johnstone has been linked with a move to West Ham, according to reports.

Our colleagues at the Birmingham Mail say the goalkeeper, expected to be loaned out by Manchester United once again, is an option for the London Stadium club, with Joe Hart to return to Manchester City.

You just wonder whether Johnstone would be a good fit for Cardiff, with Neil Etheridge needing some support next season.

Only allowed 2 loan signings at any time, what a waste to have one of them getting splinters sat on the bench.
Etheridge deserves his chance as No.1.
Would rather get someone like McGovern/Norwich as back up.
