And to think he's the same age as Warnock.

Former Wales and Real Madrid boss John Toshack to take over Iranian club side
The former Liverpool, Cardiff City and Swansea City player has had a long career in management

Former Wales boss John Toshack is braced to take charge of Iranian club side Tractor Sazi, according to reports.
The club competes in the top tier of Iranian football, the Iran Pro League and is nicknamed Kırmızı Kurtlar (The Red Wolves) . They will reportedly appoint Toshack on a three-year deal.

The 69-year-old Welsh legend, who had two stints as national team boss and two as Real Madrid manager, is widely credited for beginning the process that saw Gareth Bale, Aaron Ramsey and others emerge through the youth ranks.

As a player, 'Tosh' featured for Cardiff City and Swansea City, as well as Liverpool before heading into management.
After departing Moroccan side Wydad Casablanca in 2016, Toshack has been out of work but now looks to be ticking off another country in his long and illustrious managerial career. He was previously in talks with the Cameroon national team.

Toshack has managed Sporting Lisbon, Besiktas, St Etienne and the Macedonia national team in the past, as well as several Spanish clubs. Iranian media reports that Tractor Sazi have hired the veteran Welshman with the aim of ending their Iran Pro League title drought, having finished third in 2016/16 and second three times between 2012 and 2015.
