So after Junior Hoilett, Neil Etheridge and Joe Bennett all agreed and signed new Cardiff City contracts in quick succession, what happens now?

The name all fans will be looking out for is Aron Gunnarsson. Technically he is a free agent now and can sign for any club he wants... Neil Warnock and the Bluebirds hierarchy are working hard to persuade him the right club is Cardiff.

Elsewhere, Nathaniel Mendez-Laing has been offered a new contract, so too Brian Murphy. And others may follow suit: Bruno Manga, Kenneth Zohore and Loic Damour are among those who also see their current deal expire in June 2019.It’s clear Cardiff are looking long-term by securing these contracts, as well as some excellent transfer business.

With pre-season tests due to commence tomorrow (Wednesday), the future is looking bright.

Sorry Annis, was busy typing a post about the same subject and have just noticed your post.
Definitely a case of great minds think alike, methinks.
It's encouraging to see the club actively planning for the future and offering new contracts to tie current players to longer term contracts.
I think the guarantee of extra income that the Premiership provides is a great boost to enable the club to look forward and do this, long may it continue.
