Looking good so far, it looks like it needs a few more weeks to take completely. You can still see sand etc. It’s goimg to looks great by the time home our pre season game comes around.

I read in the excellent Fred Keenor book that they used the ashes from the factorys along Penarth Road for the pitch and it was common for players to slash themselves from shards of glass that would come up through the grass.

That looks better than some peoples gardens atm
