Before the referendum every household in the UK received a pamphlet from the Government at a cost of £9m which clearly explained that if the UK voted to leave that would mean leaving both the Custom's Union and the Single Market.
In any case both are so fundamental to the EU that it is dead raving obvious that a leave vote meant leaving both the CU & SM.
When I voted to leave I did so fully understanding that we would leave both. It is really annoying when remoaners keep stating that those who voted leave didn't know this despite receiving that information directly from the Government
Put it this way if you voted to remain where did it say on the ballot paper the UK would remain in both the CU & SM?

There wasn't a second vote in 1975 when the UK voted to join the Common Market. There were no referendums on the Maastricht and Lisbon Treaties which altered the structure of the Common Market and created the EU with it's Customs Union, Single Market and Freedoms of movement.
So why should there be a 'second referendum' just so project fear can have another crack at frightening people into changing their minds? BTW I don't believe leavers have changed their minds and quite rightly want the Government to honour the result of the 2016 referendum before there is even any talk of a second referendum.
Well of course you can believe what you want. The 1975 plebiscite was the first referendum, 2016 was the second so s precedent has already been set. What's the problem with having a third? If you're so convinced your lot will win again you should welcome it.
Going on your logic the 'third' referendum will be 41 years after the 'second' one in other words 2057

No, it's nothing to do with time constraints It's a consequence of political expediency and can happen anytime. The 2016 referendum wasn't scheduled to take place 41 years after the first one; it was called because David Cameron used it as a stratagem to take the wind out of the sails of his far right flank. He was certain it would be a Remain vote and that would ensure their emasculation. He got it spectacularly wrong. But in any case even if Remain had won it would never have definitively shut down the argument, and as one Nigel Garage said on the referendum night, if Leave had lost he would not give up his fight and would campaign for another referendum..... surprise surprise! And incidentally, just 6 months ago or so he claimed he would now like a third referendum because the government's negotiating stance isn't "Brexity" enough. You couldn't make it up, could you?
No, the third referendum will undoubtedly come and it could be at any time, so make sure you prepare for it. Already there is a mounting head of steam from both sides of the argument and, something is bound to happen, but when....who knows?
The one thing I would say to you Brexteers is the sooner it happens the better for you because the demographic dynamic is not in your favour. The Leave vote is dying out in greater numbers because it is largely an older demographic, and of course more and more tranches of the younger vote become eligible to vote year on year, and that is largely a Remain demographic. So I think if I were you I'd be campaigning for another referendum PDQ

It's more the meltdown that may come after leaving if a hard or no deal exit occurs, this is when a large number of big business withdraws from the uk as the legistration that under pins them is governed by the EU.
So you've bought into project fear then.
Not so much bought into it, but through work like many, are identifying Risk based on various scenarios post exit scenarios.
What about the effect if us leaving EU? It is not a one way street and EU countries have as much to lose as we have in fact several countries will go bust if some of the scenarios happen if we leave!
We run a £70b trade deficit with the EU
Almost a fifth of German car exports is to the U.K. we are a more important market for them than the US and Japan combined.
A no deal will hurt them more than us trade wise.

Yep. Only the remainers had the intelligence to know what it was all about. Rest of us (which happened to be the majority) too thick to know what we were voting for.

I always fe!t that there should NOT have been a referendum.
Cameron put the interests of the Tory party before those of the UK.
It backfired because sufficient voters followed the "lead" of people like Johnson Gove Mogg and Ian Duncan Smith!!I
AND remember Johnson couldn't make up his mind whether he was for Brexit and only decided at the last minute!
Surely these upper class privately schooled twits couldn't get the majority of working class to support them. Unbelievable!
Or maybe not.....
They used downright lies about Immigration control and the Health Service investment of alleged "savings". It now appears they also broke financial rules.
soon after we had Gove not supporting Johnson for leader and putting himself forward (No loyalty among thieves) and saying he would not be competent Now we have David Davies resigning with some grace. And, again LATE in the day Johnson decided to go too and make a song and dance about it. Thinking, on balance, his support for the May proposals would alienate his MP supporters. He was poor as foreign Secretary as his main concern is Boris Johnson and wanting to lead the Tories.
Sadly the gullible see him as some sort of hero saving his little Union Jack flags!! IMHO he is an unprincipled buffoon.
sadly behind every fool there are bigger fools that follow them.
Next week Trump visits ...whoopee
.......I am over 60 and these are the worst set of politicians that I can remember....absolute garbage
