I watch alot of games. He can't pass, no threat going forward. He's a very one dimensional player in the sense he's a good battler but I'm sorry we need more than that!

yes he is one dimensional but is very good at it..its the same answers all the time, not quick, cant pass, isnt dynamic enough...i agree....but that really isnt his role...preventing isnt about winning 50/50s or headers or at least not just about those things its more about reading danger and positioning your self to block / be in the way of threatening passes to players that can hurt you the most so that even if the pass is made its a second or third choice not the optimum one..you can have a huge effect on a game without touching the ball especially if your in a team that only gets 1/3rd pos..its how well Gunner and others were without the ball that ensbled us to win games
only you get zero credit for it other than from those that have asked you to do it.
