Lots of interest surrounding Harry Arter. Clubs interested are Cardiff, Newcastle, Boro and Stoke. Player has chosen Cardiff and will have a medical at the club today. All going well should be announced tomorrow.

Was concerned we were using our two loans on midfielders but am I right in thinking Camarasa does not count as he is from another FA.

Would be happy with Arter, don't know a lot about Camarasa but it would be two players in a key position. I think with strikers being so expensive a loan makes more sense.

I believe we can loan more than 2 players in total. I think we can loan several players, but only a maximum of 4 loan players can be named in the match day squad.

This two loans limit is only regarding Premiership clubs. We can only loan a maximum of 2 Premiership players this season. So if Camarasa and Arter come in on loan, only Arter is a Premiership player. So we can still loan a second Premiership player, plus we still have the option to bring in other overseas players on loan.

I'm fairly sure that's correct? Feel free to correct me if any of that's wrong.

Me neither, but it would be great if we could bring in 2 Premiership loans, 2 overseas loans and spend our supposedly spare 10 million to bring in a fifth player.

I still think we are short and to complete what I think would be a perfect squad, I would want 2 centre midfielders, a striker, a right back and another one who can fill in at centre back (Ethan Ampadu would be perfect).

That's obviously being very greed though, I will settle for 2 centre midfielders and a striker on top would be a nice bonus.
