Neil Warnock has spoken to Harry Arter
Neil Warnock has confirmed he’s spoken with Harry Arter after the Cardiff City midfielder hit the headlines this week following a well-publicised spat with Republic of Ireland assistant Roy Keane.
The Bluebirds boss says there’s been no problem with Arter — other than his slightly worrying yellow card record so far!
NEIL WARNOCK:
“He’s a gem of a lad for a manager to have,” Warnock told TalkSPORT.
“He’s just so enthusiastic. Every day in training I have to calm him down."
“In fairness to Eddie [Howe] he did tell me his biggest problem is getting booked… and he’s had three bookings in three games!"
“I have no problem with him at all. We had a chat about this situation, but no more than what a manager and a player would do in the same circumstances.”
