To stay up

IMO We need a min of 10 wins and 7 draws. I know that no one can predict exactly what we will need but just a guess really. In the next 4 games we need 2 wins if we are thinking in terms of averaging it out through the course of the season.

If we can finish say WIN 11 draw 9 and lose 18 or something we may just be able to stay up. Just depends on others around us too.

People always over estimate the amount of points needed as 40 it hasn’t been that for Donkeys years if you get to 36 then your fine probably even less this year IMO. So I’m looking at is as getting more than 12 points from the first 13 games something I think we will do. As TBH so we have done pretty much what was expected lose away at Bournemouth and against the big teams and get point at Huddersfield and home to Newcastle. Its when we play the likes of Fulham, Huddersfield etc. At home that we need to win get say 8 wins at home and 3 or 4 draws and then we should be fine as we will pick up a few unexpected away points too.

All we need to do is win our home games against those sides who are in a similar boat to us, the likes of Burnley, Newcastle, Huddersfield, Brighton & Southampton. Pick up a few away points against these as well and we should be fine. Not easy, but no point in judging us against the likes of Chelsea or our next opponents. We are light years behind those sort of sides and most fans know our season will be defined by our results against the 6 or 7 sides who like us, will be fighting to stay in this league for another season.
