Aston Villa linked with Caulker

Aston Villa are reportedly interested in signing former Cardiff City centre-back Stephen Caulker.

The ex QPR, Spurs and Liverpool defender has been battling his own personal demons of late and most recently turned out for Dundee, before being linked with a move to Ukrainian side Arsenal Kiev.

But West London Sport claim Villa are keen on taking Caulker, who is currently a free agent. An interesting one.

Well if he's off the pop and fit might be worth a try.

Shocked by this one and equally shocked to learn Caulker is only 26 years old

I guess they have nothing to lose but it's a risk and one that will probably bite them in the backside!

I thought he was about 40 as he looks about that age has some talent but he's a nightmare to manage as well we know.
