A mixed start to the Champions League for the Premier League clubs involved.
Manchester City, who visit Cardiff City on Saturday, lost 2-1 at home to Lyon. Meanwhile, City’s arch-rivals Manchester United got a 3-0 away win at Swiss side Young Boys.
Last night, Liverpool beat PSG 3-2 at home. Earlier on, Spurs lost 2-1 at Inter Milan.
The Champions League group stages continue in three weeks.
