CARDIFF CITY WERE OUTCLASSED BY THE CHAMPIONS .

Cardiff City fans who were superb yet again saw their side totally outclassed today and still searching for a win this season.

Cardiff are now bottom of the Premier League after six games.

Cardiff gave the usual 20min battling display, but as the game went on Man City’s class came through, which resulted in Man City tearing Cardiff apart and scoring three goals in the last 15mins of the first-half. Cardiff went in at half-time lucky to have 11men after Joe Ralls foul.

Second-half was no better for Cardiff, with Man City scoring two more goals and Lee Peltier leaving the pitch injured.

Our fans were brilliant today.

We got a hammering but we carried on singing to the end. This will make a big difference if we can keep it up till the end of the season.

Keep the doom and gloom out of the stadium so the players look forward to come and play there all season.

A championship team against one of the best in Europe was only going to end one way, actually enjoyed last two defeats but nothing enjoyable about today. Thankfully we haven’t got to play them every week, fans were great after they woke from the shock of what was happening. We go again. Enjoy the ride.

What shock?

What’s shocking about us losing 5-0 to Man City

Not really. Wigan beat them in the FA cup last season, and Wolves held them for 120 minutes in the League cup.

A win was unlikely but our lack of posession, and lack of goals gives no encouragement at all in terms of where we will finish this season.

I hope we can begin to pick up points against some of the lesser teams but our performances against 10 men Huddersfield and Newcastle don't indicate that we're anywhere near doing so.

Nothing shocking about it at all, but most fans were still in disbelief as what was happening. Have never seen us toyed with like that in the last 30 years.

Man City have pushed on since the Wigan defeat, and all teams will have a rare defeat as we seen in week but in the main they’re ill batter most sides. Your right, against Newcastle and Huddersfield we struggled I do however feel with danany and bobby up front we would have beaten them teams.

We didn't exactly help ourselves with the lack of marking for 2 goals plus mangas mistake , but even then would have lost that's for sure but maybe not by 5! :o
