To the City supporters who broke down on the M5

Mon Oct 01, 2018 8:25 pm

Was driving about a mile from Strensham Services, when I saw a car on the hard shoulder. Noticed the City shirts sitting on the grass verge! I got off at the M50 junction but went back Northbound up the M5 in order to get off again 5 miles further on to drop back down again to them.
By now the AA Recovery van had arrived.
The AA guy even gave me a ticking off for stopping!! :old:

I just didn’t want to leave a fellow Bluebird behind stranded.
I hope you all made it safety to the game.
You never know one day I might need you to rescue me!

Chris Sutton would never understand.
Once a Bluebird. Always a Bluebird.

Have you seen the movie " Saving Private Ryan" ? That story put me very much in mind of that.
