Warnock's irritating attitude

Tue Oct 02, 2018 1:33 pm

First time poster.

Does anyone else find Mr Warnock extremely irritating or is it just here?

He's always saying things in interviews which give off the signal that he's happy to lose. "We had a good bash today, it was nice and we really enjoyed ourselves" after losing 5-0 at home. Christ you have several professional international premier league footballers in your squad, you should be looking to win every game you go into, not be happy losing and picking up your wages. Is this squad any worse than the one West Brom survived with in 2005? What about Huddersfields squad that survived last year, arguably the worst squad of players ever to survive in Premier League history.
Wish the board would have removed this clown before in the summer and shown intent by hiring someone who's been here and done it. Big Sam? Pulls? Highly likely the pair of them would have us on more an 2 points at this stage. We're already half down after 7 games. It will likely take a low points tally to stay up this year, maybe 35 will be enough. We'll be lucky to be hitting 25 at this rate.
"You should be grateful about what he did for us". Grateful? for what? He's doing a football management job not curing cancer amongst millions. Getting paid thousands a week whilst doing it as well. If he saw you in the street he wouldn't give a toss about you and your life so why should we show him respect. When we go down with this Premier League Clown at the end of the season the world will still spin and he'll still be a millionaire, and probably disappear back to the Championship where he belongs, or get another desperate Premier Legaue club relegated. Our squad isn't as richly endowed as some others in this league, but it's certainly not the worst, and it's capable of finishing above three sides this season. If the board had any savvy they would have used him to get us up and then remove him for someone who gives us a better chance of survival.
Looking forward to the three plus goal thrashing this Saturday.

Anyone looking forward to watching us get a three goal thrashing is obviously not a true fan.

Anyone who's first post is about looking forward to seeing their team lose is obviously not worth taking seriously. First thoughts are it's a less intelligent form of Roathie and just another troll.

Well, when you get us promoted to the premier league 18 months after we were bottom of the Championship and only going in one direction, with the budget he's had (or lack of) then I'll give you some respect too. Until then I don't.

If you think football defines a man then you need a serious look in the mirror, and at your life in general.

He used to irritate me when he wasn't our manager  I think he's just being a realist and so should some of our fans. Most seemingly thinks he can get a quart out of a pint pot.Being a supporter since '73 I think this is better than what I'm historically used to.

Now you've got me confused??? I thought this was a football forum, and he is the manager of the football club I support. This isn't a medical forum, and he isn't my doctor. If it was and he contributed to the well being of my health, then I would respect him for that too. I don't see your point that I can't I can't respect him for what he's achieved for this football club?

Christ at least Roathie understood the concept of paragraphs - got a few lines in and gave up to be honest because my eyes were hurting.

Makes you almost nostalgic for a decent WUM like Barnet claiming to be a football scout!
