Question...

Wed Oct 03, 2018 9:16 pm

Can anyone tell me why City always do the same kick-off. Off long to the right.
70% of the time it goes out and we concede possession.
30% of the time the opposition wins the ball and we give away possession (again).

I’m racking my brains but I can’t ever remember we getting any sort of advantage?
It’s a little like the long throws. It’s been a while since anything was gained from them.

I can only presume the team is ordered to do the same thing time after time.
Admittedly I’m not football coach, but it’s either...

f*cking clueless
f*cking stubborn
Or so f*cking clever that I don’t understand it! :laughing6:

Maybe the plan is to either bore the opposition to death.

Can anyone enlighten me?
Answers on a postcard.

it's all about the percentages. Less dangerous than losing possession in our defensive third.

Goddamit though it's not pretty I totally agree  but was effective at Championship level.
