He’s nowhere near as good as Bennett so should never start anyway. Bench at best for him this season injuries aside.

I thought Bennett did ok today. Dier got lucky with the goal...

They're both very good players who justify a place. Bennet is a better defender but Cunningham is probably just a bit better going forward. We really need alternatives like this in other positions too .
I've wondered whether Sir Neil expected Bennet to agree terms with Fulham, who were at that point trying hard for him and therefore expected to need a replacement.

Perhaps next summer thinking if we go down Joe one of the players we may lose and have Greg as a ready made replacement.

In my opinion Bennett is far more effective there I wouldn't change back 4 now

Are you on crack Cunnigham is awful going forward and I would argue he also worse defensively than Bennett
