No surprise but it’s a dreadful decision to send him off.

Mentioned several times above, there is no excessive force and he doesn’t endanger the safety of the opponent.

You’re all going soft down there if you think that’s a sending offence.

Made a thread on him after the Burnley game.. since the Newcastle home game where I thought with Arter and Camarasa we had Ralls benefiting playing with two really good central midfield players but he has gone missing in a lot of games since then.. slow with his distribution to move the ball forward and caught out of position with Arter basically covering himself and Ralls because he is all over the place.

The tackle is reckless but I don't think we was wrong to appeal on the fact the rule is flawed, it's deemed a cynical foul which usually warrants a yellow regardless the nature and refs have debated and it's been split opinion.. can't deny the tackle is bad but the rule is flawed for me and it would usually 9/10 get a yellow.. the rule really needs to be cleared up.
