“ OPINIONS PLEASE “

Wed Oct 10, 2018 7:48 pm

WELSH SUPPORTERS GROUP:

A polite reminder to those of you going to the Spain game tomorrow. I know we are playing at the egg stadium, but Daffodil hats and inflatable leeks/daffodils are a big no-no. This is football :thumbright: not rugby

More chance of kids wearing or waving them in my opinion, still think it would have been better at our place.

Who cares what they are wearing as long as they support their country

They probably think the same about my Stone Island gear.

I can't see the harm in it. On one hand we moan (me included) about wanting more people to support Cardiff but then we don't want them if they are occasional visitors to the games or if they wear odd looking daffodils on their heads.

Each to his own in my books but I will never understand the rivalry between some football fans and some ground huggers. I watch the odd game of rugby once in a while but I way prefer football and care much more about it.

I say welcome to them in their daft fancy dress. The more the merrier (as long as they turn up to Rotherham away on a cold Tuesday night in February next season).

It really doesn't bother me or effect me. I've always thought it looks a bit silly but it their choice. More people the better.

Seen two people wearing daffodil hats at the Huddersfield game last week in the canton end. Embarrassing.

You need to get your eyesight tested as well as your sense of direction and time.

We didn`t play Huddersfield last week anywhere and haven`t played them at all at home this season , so how did you see said people in the canton end? :D

You know what is embarrassing grown men getting offended by what people wear or bring to a game which represent our country yet wear hooligan clobber thinking their the hardest f**ker about at a home/away game. :laughing5: :laughing5: :laughing5:

Sorry, I meant the Burnley game. Was looking at their fixtures so had Huddersfield on the brain.

There was some clown wearing a daffodil hat in the away end in belgrade.

f*cking embarrassing! Especially in a tough, passionate football country like Serbia.

I'm more embarrassed watching footballers roll over and cry after they've been tapped on the shoulder than I am by some fan wearing a daffodil on their head ... Cringe with modern footballers sometimes ...Bring back the days of Norman Hunter and Tommy Smith ..Proper footballers

Fair play to the FAW for accommodating the whole spectre of the Welsh Fan base. There was a dedicated section for the hardcore fans who like to sing and chant and stand through the game.

And to them for the more liberal supporter with Parents and Children and; the more seasoned Supporter who filled the lower and upper section of 3/4 of the Principality Stadium.

For the 13000 youngsters under 16 year old tickets sold. They are the future of the Wales International Team and it was a good Public Relations exercise in that respect.

50000 for a Thursday Friendly. A success I'd call it. Though I think the CCS would be ideal for the Euro 2020 qualifying tournament.

I was surprised looking on Instagram the number of families going to a game for the first time :occasion5:
