Probably because it is recognised as one of the greatest Stadiums in the world and one of the few with a roof? The only mistake the FAW made was they should have put the Red Wall members in one stand to recreate the Canton Stand atmosphere. To draw 50k midweek when on live TV for a Friendly was impressive when only 12k attended the last Friendly at the CCS and only 26k attended the last European Nations game against Ireland?

Funny but the quote I heared was hope we play more games here ( not all games) quoted by op, more doesn't mean all probably referring to friendlies? We certainly won't get 70k at 99% of games that's for sure and playing in 3/4 full stadium will only have fans complain about the atmosphere!

I read it more if they can be successful and fill out the Millennium on a regular basis its the long term aim. Hard to argue that.

The attendance was nothing to do with the stadium.
We were playing one of the best teams in the world that’s who people came to watch.

So if we play the best teams when we get more than 33k we continue to play at the Principality, if we expect less than 20k we play at Liberty and less than 10k we play at Wrexham otherwise the CCS?common sense for max profit to plough back into grass roots?

Not so simple because people won’t come and watch us or play us when we are shit again.
