Met George ( Moncur ) a few years ago on holiday , he was with West Ham at the time. He's a top bloke
Watched him closely ever since and he's a decent player

Is George related to Hammers Legend John Moncur ?
He does look a quality player, don't know much about Potts.

Class mate, liked the Hammers back in the mid 90s, always had a steely attitude about them, Miklosko in goals, Don Hutchinson, Julian Dicks, John Moncur, Lee Chapman, Ian Bishop.

Pity he hasn’t been watching Wilson and Ampudo to get them on loan or to buy David Brooks for 10m and sell for £30m +?

we were in for Brooks but lost out to Bournemouth

He wanted Abraham and he ended up at Villa.
Probably more value in them playing and scoring in the championship than struggling in the Premier especially the way we play.

We never bid for Brooks who went for 10m, Warnock said he bid 5m for Lerma who then went for 25m.We had no interest in Wilson who was available on loan but we paid about 10m each for Murphy and Reid? Warnock now says he would like Ampadu on loan but doubtful if Chelsea would let him go now, although he could have signed him from Exeter for £1.5 m!
